Well, i came across Some green tea& all natural organic chamomile citrus Tea .
The green tea has caffeine in it, so i turned away from it And i drank some all natural, I had an extra tea bag and i was curious to see if one of my chinchillas wanted the bag Of herbs She did she tore right threw it and ate a bit.
just wondering is this safe for her?
i’m talking about once a month kind of thing.

I did some research for you online and it seems anything with citrus (lemon, lime, etc.) is not good for Chinchillas do to their fragile Gastrointestinal tract, which can be easily disrupted and cause issues with your animal. As far as lemongrass is concerned, I couldn’t really find anything on it in terms of giving it to chinchillas, but fresh grass is apparently a big NO to feed to a chinchilla, and because lemon grass has a citrus taste to it that’s where it got its name… not sure how close it is to fresh grass or citrus fruit, but do to the combination of both in the name I’d stay away from it for now until you hear further about it – as well as the lemon peel and lemon flavoring (regardless of if it is natural or artificial)… chamomile I believe is ok, but just use it in moderation or ask a professional… overall, id stay away from the tea. =)
